ASTERA ML Holds Inaugural Board Meeting in Pristina

On March 21, 2024, in Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo, ASTERA Management and Leadership Institute held its inaugural Board Meeting, marking an important milestone in the Institute's establishment.

During this first meeting, the Board set ASTERA’s strategic direction by affirming its mission, vision, and long-term priorities. Members also discussed and endorsed the initial framework of programs and services.

In addition, the Board established key governance principles and organizational structures to ensure accountability, effectiveness, and sustainable growth. The meeting further emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships to support ASTERA’s development and regional impact.

At the 2026 Annual Conference of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), ASTERA ML was represented by its CEO, Dr. Shpresa Kaçiku Baljija, highlighting the organization’s growing engagement in the public administration space.

Held in Los Angeles, the conference convened leaders from academia, government, and industry to discuss pressing challenges and emerging opportunities in public service. ASTERA ML’s CEO actively participated in discussions and networking sessions, engaging with scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and institutional partners.
